Children who are entitled to the 15 hours free funding
Children entitled to the 15 hours free funding can spread their funding across the week through attending pre-school each morning or each afternoon. This would mean the 15 hours is spread across five daily sessions between 09:00-12:00 or 1:00– 4:00. Alternatively, the 15 hours funding can be used across sessions within a whole day. Children could attend both morning and afternoon sessions using 6 hours of their funding and pay for the additional lunch time hour.

Children who are entitled to the 30 hours free funding
Funded childcare of 30 hours a week is available for working parents of three- and four-year old children who meet the eligibility criteria. The additional hours of funding will enable families to work, support parents who wish to work or allow parents to work more hours.
